This game has amazing art, featuring the player character and a big guy. Even though I hate that the game has so few routes to choose from, and I’m not really into how it handles relationships — I don’t even know why, but I just wish there was more loyalty — though that’s not the main point here.
It sucks that I’m easily influenced by certain books, stories, or movies. Some of them just draw me in way too deep, and now that this one’s no longer updating, it’s completely ruined my mood for the day.
I hate my life. I hate how this dumb site keeps hiding all the good games. And when I finally find one I love, of course, it has problems!
Still, I can’t help but feel bad if the dev really had a rough time during COVID. It’s been four years since the last update, and judging by the drafts, they had so much planned — routes, sketches, ideas, everything.
I feel the same way as you. This game is absolutely perfect. Even without background music or character voices, the story really makes me think of the old days. It’s deeply moving and unforgettable. I really hope the creator comes back to continue making it.

The last update post of Castr on his Patreon were about him and his partner got COVID in 2021 but later on the post got deleted and til now Castr didn't post and update thou his Patreon and to his Social Medias acc. So it safe to assume that him and his partner probably buried on the gravestone rn

I got so immediately invested in the story, but then immediately became even more depressed than I already am when I read through the comments afterwards...

If you pay a one-off Patreon membership ($2 then unsubscribe afterwards), you'll be able to download version 1.1b of the game, which may well be longer, and more polished than the itch.io version here 0.5? It is sad that the story was not completed - for whatever reason. If you read their Patreon updates there were exciting things to come, including; new routes (Ned route already started), a potential new love interest and a fun Halloween version - Ned the werewolf becoming a reality, and Cott the orc (hence the big dong!). If you download the new version, you can apparently enter the Ned route on day 3 by "checking all the items in his shop". I've only just downloaded the new version, I don't know how well it works. Obviously it may not be as glitch-free as this itch.io version.
Their last post on patreon, which was apparently removed, was announcing that they got Covid back in 2021 and since then nothing else was posted anywhere...
Well, considering that the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) is actually relatively benign to anyone who isn't elderly or seriously immunocompromised, despite the fearmongering of Government and Big Pharma, means that either he is actually sick, dead, or really doing just fine but is fed up with his project(s) and used the coronavirus as an excuse to step away from his obligations.
It's not like it's difficult for someone with a pseudonym account to disappear into his regular life...

I just want to say that I hope all is well and that at some point you are able to continue with this great visual novel... the art, story, and NSFW material is truly enjoyable and would love to see more. Not sure what all is going on on your end or if this is but a pipe dream... but hopefully at some point we can get some more of this :)

It can be a good way to make money, for sure... even the big game publishers sometimes sell their games before finishing them. Which is just really dumb when consumers pay for it, despite there being no benefit to doing so.
Sexual games being sold as 'early access' can really get people's money and attention, because people don't think clearly/rationally when sex is involved, especially when you can declare something as non-heterosexual, as it gets an abnormally high degree of forgiveness and virtue signalling for anything that isn't heterosexual, even if it's terrible or lacklustre.

He should have told us he was going on a 6 Month break. So yeah I won't be subscribing to him until he actually post something explaining what happened to him.
as much as i love this game , why would we subscribe to the patron if there hasnt been content for it...i cancelled my subscription last month, he hasn't updated us in so long. like despite everything atleast tell us a reason.
